1906 Sydney to France Taxed 15 centimes Double Deficiency for invalid payment.

A few interesting areas on this one. Sydney No 41 was used from 25th January to 9th November 1906. These cancelers only lasted a short period of time as they wore quite easily.
Due to stamps being placed on picture side they were invalid in this period as regulations were that stamps were to be affixed in the top right hand corner of the address side.
Taxed 15 centimes and paid by receiver.
